‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Director Jon M. Chu Set to Direct the Film Adaptation of ‘Wicked’ in Two Separate Movies
‘Crazy Rich Asians’ director Jon M. Chu is set to direct the film adaptation of ‘Wicked’ in two separate movies which will star Ariana Grande as Glinda the Good Witch and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West.
Chu made the announcement in a post on Twitter today writing, “As we prepared the production over the last year, it became increasingly clear that it would be impossible to wrestle the story of Wicked into a single film without doing some real damage to it.”

Studio Ghibli released the first trailer for Hayao Miyazaki’s final film ‘The Boy and the Heron’.
The film is set to make its US premiere at this year’s New York Film Festival, taking place from October 6th to 8th. It’s set to make its debut in theaters nationwide and IMAX on December 8th.

Studio Ghibli released new images from Hayao Miyazaki’s final film ‘The Boy and the Heron’.
The film is set to make its US premiere at this year’s New York Film Festival, taking place from October 6th to 8th, with a North American theater release date coming later this year.
It had already become the largest debut in Studio Ghibli’s history with a $13.2M opening weekend in Japan despite no promotion or marketing.
