Constance Wu Returning to Television in New Amazon Series With Chris Pratt

Constance Wu is making a return to television in the new Amazon drama “The Terminal List,” joining co-stars Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch. The new series depicts series lead Chris Pratt as James Reece, a Navy SEAL whose platoon was ambushed during a classified mission. It follows his journey home as he deals with internal battles stemming from memories of his experiences. Wu stars in the show as Katie Buranek, a war correspondent that finds an unlikely ally in Reece, as reported by Variety.

This marks Wu’s first return to television since she starred in ABC’s six year run of “Fresh Off the Boat” which ended last year. Wu recently gave birth to a baby girl, announced this past December.

Wu has recently starred in the blockbuster films “Hustler,” in which she co-starred with Jennifer Lopez and “Crazy Rich Asians,” in which she co-starred with Henry Golding.

Hulu released the trailer for the upcoming film ‘Quiz Lady’ starring Sandra Oh and Awkwafina.

The film is described to follow “Anne (Awkwafina), a brilliant but tightly wound game show obsessee, and her estranged train wreck of a sibling, Jenny (Sandra Oh), as they come together to pay off their mother’s gambling debt. When Anne’s beloved dog is kidnapped the sisters set out on a wild, cross-country trek to earn cash the best way they know how: By turning Anne into a game show champion. And doing so might just bring this dysfunctional family together.”

The film is set to debut on Hulu November 3rd.
