Fans of the beloved series ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ have reason to rejoice as Prime Video officially announced the show’s return for a much-anticipated third season. The announcement, which came directly from the streaming giant, has ignited a wave of excitement among viewers who have been eagerly awaiting the continuation of the captivating story.

Created by celebrated author Jenny Han, ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ has garnered a dedicated following since its inception. The series is a faithful adaptation of Han’s best-selling novels that bear the same name.

In the announcement the streamer wrote, “Season 3 was greenlit ahead of the strikes and production will not begin until after negotiations are resolved.” The hit series was created by author Jenny Han and is based on her bestselling novels of the same name.

Studio Ghibli released new images from Hayao Miyazaki’s final film ‘The Boy and the Heron’.

The film is set to make its US premiere at this year’s New York Film Festival, taking place from October 6th to 8th, with a North American theater release date coming later this year.

It had already become the largest debut in Studio Ghibli’s history with a $13.2M opening weekend in Japan despite no promotion or marketing.
