Huy Fong Foods Suspends the Production of Sriracha Due to Shortages in Chili Pepper Supply

Huy Fong Foods has announced that they’ve suspended the production of their popular sriracha sauce due to severe shortages in the supply of chili peppers.

“Due to weather conditions affecting the quality of chili peppers, we now face a more severe shortage of chili,” the company said. “Unfortunately, this is out of our control, and without this essential ingredient, we are unable to produce any of our products.”

The live-action adaptation of ‘One Piece’ hit number one on Netflix in over 84 countries, just three days after its release. This surpassed the record set by hit series ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Wednesday’.

The series is described as the following: “Based on Japan’s highest-selling manga series in history by Eiichiro Oda, ONE PIECE is a legendary high-seas adventure unlike any other. Monkey D. Luffy is a young adventurer who has longed for a life of freedom since he can remember. Studio Ghibli released new images from Hayao Miyazaki’s final film ‘The Boy and the Heron’.

The film is set to make its US premiere at this year’s New York Film Festival, taking place from October 6th to 8th, with a North American theater release date coming later this year.

It had already become the largest debut in Studio Ghibli’s history with a $13.2M opening weekend in Japan despite no promotion or marketing.
