12-Year-Old Boy Goes Viral Leaving Middle School to Pursue Pro Fortnite Career

12-year-old Japanese gaming prodigy known as Tarou has gone viral after announcing he will leave school to focus on esports full-time.

A gamer since age three, the youngster believes traditional schooling hinders his competitive potential.

His primary goal is competing in the prestigious Fortnite World Cup. Taro insists that to surpass top global players, he must practice intensely.

He believes that anything less than ten hours a day simply isn’t enough to reach the elite level.

Tarou said his decision followed a year of talks with his family and teachers. He plans a balanced lifestyle focused on intense esports training while still making time for sleep, exercise, and self-study.

He aims to pursue gaming seriously without neglecting his well-being.

His father fully supports the move, noting that top Asian contenders practice up to twelve hours daily.

“If he had to go to school every day, he would be exhausted after class. It would be impossible to guarantee the focused training time he needs,” his father said.

While Tarou’s academic record remains private, his family believes he has exceptional talent.

With over 230,000 YouTube followers, he is dedicating himself to esports, aiming to become one of Asia’s top professional gamers and make a name in the competitive gaming scene.
