Marvel’s ‘Uncanny X-Men’ introduces a new Singaporean mutant named ‘Jitter’, whose power of hyper-focus allows her to master skills rapidly but only for a short duration, requiring her to use a stopwatch to manage her abilities.

Fans caught their first glimpse of Jitter on Singapore’s National Day, as she joins the ‘Outliers’, a group of new mutants facing off against classic characters like Gambit and Wolverine.

This addition marks another nod to Singapore in the Marvel universe, following the creation of the ‘Madripoor’ island inspired by the country.
