Blackpink Members Receive Honors From Britain’s King Charles

King Charles III of England bestowed Blackpink with honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire medals last week.

Blackpink received the MBEs in recognition of their role as COP26 Advocates for the United Nations climate summit in 2021.

The band made history in July, becoming the first K-pop group to headline a major UK music festival.

King Charles jokingly said, “It’s amazing you’re still talking to each other after all these years to the band at the ceremony. I hope I shall be able to see you perform live at some point.”

TWICE’s latest album, STRATEGY, has made a remarkable debut on global iTunes charts following its release on December 6th.

The 14th mini-album ranked No. 2 on the worldwide iTunes album chart, No. 3 on the European iTunes album chart, and secured the top spot in 13 countries, including Japan, Finland, Brazil, India, and Taiwan.

Its title track, Strategy (feat. Megan Thee Stallion), also reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Song charts in Bahrain, Laos, Peru, and the Philippines.
