7 Kpop Stars with the Funniest TikToks
Talent recycling at its finest
Though we mainly love and admire Korean stars for their talented musical or acting careers, many of them are using social media platforms, like Tiktok, to interact with their fans and show off a new side of themselves. Their entertaining relatable content and creative song promos shed new light on their characters, making us fall in love with them even more.
1. Sorn
Sorn is a Thai Kpop idol based in Korea. She debuted back in 2015 as a member of CLC, and is loved for her cute and lively personality. She’s very active on TikTok, where she posts relatable AF content and sometimes participates in fun trends. And of course, she looks flawless in every video!
2. Rosé
Rosé, one of the 4 members of BlackPink, is well-known for her angelic features and beautiful vocals. Her Tiktoks mostly consist of her dog, Hank, vlogs of her life, (hilarious) promos of her solo songs, ‘On the Ground’ and ‘Gone,’ and goofy challenges, all of which have gone viral! This is 10/10 promoting, y’all.
3. Lee Si Young
Lee Si Young, who you might recognize from her roles in Kdramas “Sweet Home” and “Boys Over Flowers,” has a real knack for using her talents as an actress to make creative videos on TikTok. In an interview, she said making TikTok videos is a form of stress relief. A stress reliever for her and LOL-content for us? Sounds like a win-win situation to me!
4. Henry
Henry is a Canadian singer-songwriter active in Korea and China. But singing isn’t all he does, or can do! Boasting a myriad of impressive talents, Henry is a violinist, pianist, guitarist, actor, entertainer, rapper, dancer… and add to that list, a witty TikTok-er! He frequently uses his social media platform to bless us with his musical abilities and make us laugh with his cute skits. Pop off with those transitions, king!
5. Tomorrow by Together
This Kpop boy band, better known as TXT, is a 5 member boy group that debuted back in 2019, consisting of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai. They have a load of adorable group content on their TikTok account, and they often promote their music through fun challenges. BTW, the color coordination in this TikTok video is absolutely everything.
6. ENHYPEN
Enhypen, the 7-member Kpop group comprised of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki, is known for their vampire concept and synchronized dance choreography. Of course, their Tik-Toks are top-tier as well! They participate in a variety of dance challenges in particular, like in this one embedded below.
7. TWICE
Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu are the 9 members of the iconic Kpop girl group TWICE. Their TikTok page is full of playful content using snippets of their songs for promo. How cute are their videos?
