Wedding Goes Viral After Twin Sisters Married Twin Brothers & Were Attended by Twin Uncles
A wedding in China has gone viral after twin sisters married twin brothers and were both attended by twin uncles.
On the wedding day, there were four pairs of twins on site, the grooms, the grooms’ uncles, the brides, and the brides’ uncles, making the wedding nothing short of a miracle.
The two couples, both in their twenties, are from Fuyang, Anhui province in central China.
Their families lived close to each other for years, but it was not until 2022 that a matchmaker formally introduced the Shan sisters to the Song brothers, setting everything in motion.
Even now, the in-laws still mix up the sisters, and the sisters’ parents regularly confuse the two brothers.
The couples themselves, however, have no such problem. Years of being together have made them familiar enough with each other’s looks and personalities that confusion is rarely an issue.
The twin uncles turned out to be the biggest surprise of the wedding, as neither family had any idea the other’s uncles were also twins until they were all in the same room.
“Imagine if these two couples each had a pair of twins. I wonder how packed this big family would be,” an observer said.
