A U.S. Navy veteran named Gerardo Soriano is melting hearts online after his son stepped up to fulfill his final wishes following a stage 4 sarcoma diagnosis that left him with only about 30 days to live.

His one wish was to see ‘The Eagles’ perform live, and his son made it happen.

Gerardo’s son Chris Soriano, a filmmaker, immediately got to work. Chris reached out to ‘The Eagles’ directly, sharing his father’s story in hopes they would respond.

Thankfully, they did, sending free tickets so Gerardo could witness what may be his final concert.

Chris was not done. Despite serving 20 years in the Navy as a storekeeper, Gerardo never had a proper retirement ceremony.

Chris worked with the U.S. Navy to organize an official retirement ceremony, making sure his father finally received the recognition he deserved.

The surprises did not end there. When Olivia Rodrigo heard Gerardo’s story, she sent him a personal gift that deeply touched the whole family.

According to Chris, the gesture gave his father a renewed sense of strength and inspired him to keep fighting.

What started as a son’s quiet act of love for his father became a story the entire world stopped to watch.

Gerardo Soriano spent 20 years serving his country and in his final weeks, the world, especially his loving son, found a way to serve him back.
