Seoul has been named the world’s most beloved city by Gen Z and millennial travelers for the fourth straight year, cementing its global appeal.

The honor reflects how South Korea’s capital continues to capture younger visitors with culture, energy, and constantly evolving urban life today.

The title was awarded through the 2025 Trazees, based on votes from travelers aged 25 to 40 worldwide.

Organized by US-based Trazee Travel, the awards drew over 800,000 participants, placing Seoul ahead of Dublin, Hong Kong, and London in 2025’s watched global travel survey.

Seoul’s continued success highlights its rare balance of tradition and innovation.

Historic palaces stand beside neon-lit streets, while efficient transport and smart tourism tools make the city easy to explore. For many young travelers, Seoul feels fast, creative, and deeply authentic to visitors around world.

Officials say the city’s popularity is also tied to the global rise of South Korean culture, from music and film to food and fashion.

Korean films and shows have gone viral worldwide, amplifying curiosity and inspiring travelers to experience Seoul in real life.

After receiving the award, Seoul pledged to keep refining travel experiences designed for younger generations.

City leaders emphasized immersive, stylish content and smarter tourism services, aiming to ensure first-time visitors and repeat travelers continue to find the city exciting for years ahead.

He was just a kid then, and now at 17, he is showing the world just how beautifully time flies.

Geon Roung never stepped away from the spotlight. Since 2019, he has been part of Play With Me Club, a South Korean co-ed kids group, keeping his place in showbiz.

Fans who rediscovered him recently were stunned, with many saying he now looks just like a K-pop idol.

The ‘Baby Shark’ video was uploaded to YouTube in June 2016 by Pinkfong, a South Korean education brand.

It quickly became a staple in nursery schools and a go-to distraction for parents of toddlers worldwide, turning into one of the most recognizable children’s songs of its generation.

For many who grew up watching that video on repeat, seeing Geon Roung at 17 is a quiet reminder of how fast kids grow up.
