Starting late November, select theaters in cities like Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen rolled out pet-friendly screenings, creating a buzz online as owners shared videos of pups enjoying the animated adventure.

These special sessions are strictly for pets, ensuring that viewers with allergies or noise sensitivities are not affected.

Each seat comes with diapers, pads, and cleaning wipes, and owners are responsible for tidying up after their furry companions.

Different cities also added special touches for pet attendees. Beijing created “calm dog zones” for shy pups, Shenzhen set up photo corners, and Chengdu hosted same-breed viewings.

Meanwhile, Lanzhou teamed up with adoption groups to hold multi-day companion events.
