Japan’s government is tackling its sleep crisis with the ‘ZZZN SLEEP APPAREL SYSTEM’, a wearable sleep solution developed with NTT DX Partners and Konel.
It includes a smart ring to track sleep and stress, headgear for noise cancellation and sleep sounds, and a temperature-adjusting down coat for comfort.
With a coming debut at Expo 2025 Osaka, the system promotes polyphasic sleep by optimizing rest through biometric tracking.
The jacket offers a fashion-forward sleep solution for Japanese civilians, who are reported to receive the least amount of sleep amongst thirty-eight OECD peer countries.
