Japanese Cafes Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of ‘My Melody’ with Adorable Desserts

The beloved brunch cafe chain FLIPPER’S in Japan is celebrating the 50th anniversary of ‘My Melody’ with a special collaboration menu featuring two iconic Sanrio characters: My Melody and Cinnamoroll.

The limited edition menu will be available at all FLIPPER’S Japan locations, including those in Shimokitazawa, Jiyugaoka, Kichijoji, Shibuya, and Osaka Umeda from January 15 to February 28.

The menu features Sanrio-themed soufflé pancakes, including the “Miracle Pancake My Melody,” which includes heart-shaped Tochiaika strawberries.

This strawberry-filled soufflé creation is paired with “My Melody’s Strawberry Milk,” made from a rich strawberry sauce and topped with vanilla bean whipped cream.

Fans of Cinnamoroll can enjoy the “Miracle Pancake Cinnamoroll,” inspired by the character’s flight through the sky, which consists of apple compote, cinnamon roll dough, and a blue butterfly pea meringue.

The dessert also comes with Cinnamoroll’s “Homemade Chai,” a warm, spiced drink topped with vanilla whipped cream and chocolate stars.

For those looking for the ultimate treat, a special “Miracle Pancake Collection” set, including both the themed pancakes and drinks, will be available.
