Jackie Chan returns to the ‘Karate Kid’ franchise in the upcoming film ‘Karate Kid: Legends’, introducing Ben Wang as Li Fong, a kung fu prodigy who moves to New York City after a family tragedy.
The film reunites Ralph Macchio, who starred as Daniel LaRusso in the original ‘Karate Kid’ trilogy (1984-1989), and Jackie Chan, who portrayed Mr. Han in the 2010 ‘Karate Kid’ revival, as they mentor the young Li in martial arts.
Continuing the Karate Kid legacy and tying into the Cobra Kai universe, the film ‘Karate Kid: Legends’ is set to release on May 30, 2025.
