Anish Sarkar from Kolkata, India, has set a new record as the youngest-rated chess player in history at just three years old.

After competing in the West Bengal state Under-9 Open, he scored 5.5 out of 8 points, defeating two rated players.

With guidance from coach Dibyendu Barua, Anish has continued to impress, earning a FIDE rating of 1555 and inspiring others with his focus and passion for chess as he prepares for future competitions.
