19-Year-Old Charmaine Chui Graduates Law School After Completing College at Age 16

Charmaine Chien-Yu Chui, who graduated at 16 with dual degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from California State University, Los Angeles.
She became the youngest graduate of Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at just 19, and earned her Juris Doctor while completing an impressive 182 pro bono hours.
Now working as a judicial law clerk, Chui encourages her peers: “It can be so easy to fall into the mechanical grind of law school. Hold onto the reasons that motivated you to attend law school and continue advocating for the causes you’re passionate about.”
