House Bill 322, aimed at establishing a Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage and Culture in Delaware, will soon be signed into law on September 26th.

This historic bill will make Delaware one of the few states to create a commission focused on AAPI affairs, providing recommendations to the Governor and state lawmakers on promoting the welfare of Delaware’s AAPI community.

Asian American advocate Devin Jiang actively supported the bill, emphasizing its importance for increasing AAPI representation in Delaware.
