IndiGo Airlines, one of India’s largest carriers, has introduced a new feature enabling female travelers to select seats next to other women when booking flights.

IndiGo, India’s largest low-cost carrier, has introduced a new policy enabling female travelers to select seats next to other women when booking flights.
This feature, the first of its kind globally, allows women to view the gender of other passengers who have already selected seats, enhancing their comfort and aligning with the airline’s #GirlPower ethos. Men, however, do not have access to this information and can only see available seats.
It will be available on all IndiGo flights starting August 2024.
