The holiday tradition of eating Chinese food on Christmas is here to stay, according to search data from Yelp and Google.
Yelp’s searches for “Chinese Food” were 99% higher on Christmas than any other day in the month while Google’s search interest has peaked on Christmas every year since 2004.
A lack of restaurants open on Christmas has fueled the trend for American families over the past decades.
