South Korea defeated Portugal today to advance to the Round of 16 at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Portugal scored first in the game, but South Korea quickly evened things up. Hwang Hee-chan then came up with a massive goal in stoppage time, putting South Korea up 2-1. With the win, South Korea eliminated Uruguay from contention.
South Korea is scheduled to play again next on Monday at 2 pm ET.
