Lee Jung-jae and Hoyeon Jung had the most wholesome reactions to their historic wins at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards.
They won in the categories of “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series” and “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series” for their role in ‘Squid Game’. ‘Squid Game’ took home three awards in total, also winning in the category of “Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series.”
This makes ‘Squid Game’ the first non-English language series and first Korean series to win a SAG Award.
